Firrneh is a panel (longitudinal) survey conducted by 2M Corp every 3 months. The main aim of Firrneh is to collect information, at the national level, that is policy relevant. In the first 3 waves of Firrneh, we have collected information (at the individual and household levels) in the areas of poverty, labor and health. In each wave, we collect information on over 1,300 people across the country on their employment status, thereby allowing us to calculate unemployment rates at LGA level and by gender and education on a quarterly basis. We plan to make the results from our analysis available to the public in a timely manner.
